Enable Pro Tools output

  1. 1Open Pro Tools and load the performance session.
  2. 2Open Setz Live Bridge, go to Settings / Outputs, and enable Pro Tools. MIDI may remain enabled at the same time if you need both.
  3. 3Use the Pro Tools setup/health area to confirm that Bridge sees the session.
  4. 4Choose List Memory Locations and confirm that the numbers assigned in Setz exist in the current session.

Test safely

  1. 1Enter a known memory location in Bridge's control/test area.
  2. 2Use Cue to move Pro Tools to it without starting playback.
  3. 3Use Cue + Play only when the session and audio system are ready to run.
  4. 4Use Stop to verify transport control.
Important:Test with show audio muted or at a safe level. Cue + Play starts the Pro Tools transport.

How a song triggers

When Setz sends a song cue, Bridge reads that song's cached Pro Tools memory location, validates it against the session, and cues or plays it according to the controller action. A missing or nonexistent location is reported as an error instead of silently choosing another marker.
