Enable Pro Tools output
- 1Open Pro Tools and load the performance session.
- 2Open Setz Live Bridge, go to Settings / Outputs, and enable Pro Tools. MIDI may remain enabled at the same time if you need both.
- 3Use the Pro Tools setup/health area to confirm that Bridge sees the session.
- 4Choose List Memory Locations and confirm that the numbers assigned in Setz exist in the current session.
Test safely
- 1Enter a known memory location in Bridge's control/test area.
- 2Use Cue to move Pro Tools to it without starting playback.
- 3Use Cue + Play only when the session and audio system are ready to run.
- 4Use Stop to verify transport control.
How a song triggers
When Setz sends a song cue, Bridge reads that song's cached Pro Tools memory location, validates it against the session, and cues or plays it according to the controller action. A missing or nonexistent location is reported as an error instead of silently choosing another marker.
